Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Deposit Associate is responsible for issuing the daily deposits and scanning all US customer payments received on account into the bank using the Wells Fargo desktop deposit.
 

Job Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To

  • Sorts daily US cheques received for customer payments on accounts
  • Opens the envelopes and sorts cheque
  • Endorses cheques with bank stamp and makes calculator tapes for the totals of cheques
  • Scans cheques and the remittance information to create copies for AR associates and for scanning to eDrawer
  • Issue daily bank deposits on Wells Fargo desktop deposit website and scans all cheques to US bank account
  • Updates excel spreadsheet for a log of the cheques received
  • Scans deposit batches into eDrawer once the cash receipts are made

Candidate Qualifications

 Minimum six months to two (2) years’ related experience or equivalent combination of education and Accounts Receivable experience is required

Required Skills

 

  • Skills in the use of personal computers and related software applications including Great Plains and Excel is preferred
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, learn quickly, strong attention to detail and work as part of a Team
