Morton’s Grille is located on the Mezzanine level of the Marriott Fallsview Hotel and Spa directly overlooking Niagara Falls. Our full service restaurant and bar provides an upscale, yet casual atmosphere. Whether our guests are traveling on business or taking much needed vacation, our mission is to always exceed their expectations.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • High volume cooking of grilled proteins and organization skills.
  • Maintain and adjust production to daily volume.
  • Keep overproduction to a minimum and maximize on productivity.
  • Strong organizational skills is required in this high paced volume operation.
  • Ensures proper rotation, labeling, and storing of food in order to reduce food cost expense.
  • Ensures that all food products are handled, stored, prepared and served safely in accordance with hotel and government Food Safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a high level of consistency with a third party partnership with production and presentation of brand standards.
  • Ensuring that the kitchen work area is clean, organized and that the equipments are safely functional.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Chef and Executive Chef.

Requirements:

  • Valid Food Safe Certification from a recognized issuing company
  • Culinary education and training
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
  • Knowledge of appropriate sanitation procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during peak business levels.
  • Strong communication, work ethic and leadership skills.
