OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Inventory Control Associate plays a vital role in the tracking of all incoming and outgoing product. The Inventory Control Associate is the controller of all data related to the inputs/outputs of the assets/consumables stored in the company’s warehouse. This position is also responsible for preparing packing lists and Bill of Ladings with high attention to detail in addition to gathering accurate data for management reports. They will act as liaison between accounting, procurement, shipping, receiving, and production.

YOU WILL

  • Play a critical role in the monitoring of all inventory levels; identifying and investigating discrepancies
  • Enter data accurately across all systems, including excel and inventory management software
  • Document and maintain an accurate log of shipment details
  • Assist in cycle counts, spot counts, and monthly audits to ensure Flowr is adhering to all Health Canada Regulations
  • Partner with all departments within Flowr, becoming a subject matter in Quality product
  • Label and mark materials with identifying information and ensure that inventory cycle counts are properly managed,
  • Assist with investigating inventory inaccuracies and discrepancies and make sure that they are addressed and resolved,
  • Move stock/items to appropriate locations and ensure that they are properly stored,
  • Send alert to managers in case of low inventory levels,
  • Ensure that all company safety and risk management procedures (pertaining to inventory control) are followed,
  • Maintain and analyze inventory transactions and handle delivery scheduling duties
  • Verify cannabis material movement from secure storage areas and confirm against tracking documentation
  • Assist in Health Canada and other regulatory agency site audits
  • Verify Dry Weights of newly bulk packaged material for inventory accuracy
  • Verify and log all cannabis dry waste in Ample for destruction
  • Summarize a weekly inventory report and submit to management
  • Manage excise stamps, organize and record and report to Health Canada
  • Verify reclaimed cannabis material to bulk and reconcile process loss after reclaiming
  • Train and Guide Operations Leads on Ample inputs as it relates to inventory accuracy as well as plant audits
  • Assist and verify plant assets both in cloning and mother events
  • Assist with plant kills, counting, documenting, and Ample updates in real time
  • Assist in the harvest process by assessing bulk lots, verification of weights

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Have your High School diploma or equivalent
  • Always dependable and reliable, with great time management skills
  • Numbers don’t scare you, as you have good mathematical skills
  • Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills
  • Can psychically lift and/or move objects that are10-50lbs and can occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
  • Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills,
  • Proficient Excel and MS Office skills required, and

 

BONUS POINTS FOR

  • Diploma or Degree in accounting, administration or related field preferred,
  • Inventory, production and supply chain experience,
