What You'll Be Doing

  • Styling and photographing Fresh Prep’s local (Alberta) add-on products for use on our web, email, print/digital ads and other touchpoints

  • Photographing Alberta local add-ons in batches according to our production schedule and business needs

  • Support the production of photography for marketing purposes that mayinvolve lifestyle and still life photos

  • Communicate with the art director, photographer & food stylist, culinary and production teams to procure, execute and iterate on the photographs for continuous improvements

  • Photo retouching, manipulation and formatting for various touch points and applications as needed

  • Self manage workflow with the team with given timelines and photography schedule to ensure images are produced on time

  • Manage personal photo studio, maintaining of equipment, source and manage props, necessary for photography

  • Correspond where necessary with add ons culinary team, production / purchasing teams and project owners to gather project requirements and resolve roadblocks

  • Manage the storage of photo assets and keeping them organized

What We Are Looking For

We’re looking for someone with a well rounded portfolio and experience in product and/or food photography to fill the contract position of ourAlberta Product Photographer. This role will require you to produce appetizing images of the local add ons we will be carrying for our Alberta market, to encourage engagement and sales while adhering to our brand’s visual identity.

We’re looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, adequate cooking skills, and experience photographing food and/or still life products.

  • Excellent proficiency operating all necessary camera and lighting equipment with a portfolio of past work to demonstrate required experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication working with cross department to ensure photography is delivered and executed on time, on point and on specs

  • Proficient in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop or other equivalent photo editing software

  • A proven track record communicating a company brand

  • Demonstrated flexibility, you can match the style of the company while still pushing creative boundaries

  • Have access to a professional camera and studio lightings to produce sharp and high-resolution images to meet brand standards
