Production Supply Planner

 RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1.Responsible for MRP and Advanced Planning views of Material Master for given plants and materials

2.Responsible for controlling the evolution of plant specific material status from NPI (New Product Introduction) to obsolescence

3.Responsible for PDS (Production Data Structure) Data Object for Manufactured Materials

4.RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Planning) and capacity levelling

5.Responsible for developing & maintaining the MPS and creates planned production orders

6.Responsible for maintaining resource capacity, including downtimes, ad-hoc downtimes etc

7.Runs Product Heuristic to plan manufacturing receipts against Stock Transport Requisitions or Planned Independent Requirements

8.Co-ordinates with DRP Planner on challenges to meeting demands (capacity or component constraints)

9.Supports the Demand / Supply functions in the business with impact analysis of change requests

10.Responds to feedback from procurement on vendor constraints and inbound component supply

11.Supports NPI as a planning SME


QUALIFICATIONS:

·3 to 5 years of experience in a Production or Inventory Planning environment, preferably within the CPG field.

·Strong knowledge and experiencing working in an MRP environment.

·Knowledge of IBP (supply pillar) would be an asset.

·Knowledge of SAP Business Objects would be an asset.

·High level excel skills are required for this role.

·Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain or Materials/Operations Management is preferred

·Experience analyzing large amounts of information/data and developing fact based conclusions.

·Strong knowledge and experiencing working in an MRP environment.

·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

·Demonstrated sense of energy / urgency and ability to learn on the fly

·Ability to work cross functionally with all levels of the organization

·Proactive, organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently
