Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for tracking and maintaining accurate records of all employee data in assistance of payroll and benefits administration, as well as providing recruitment support when required.
The incumbent will undertake variety of tasks such as assist with ISC’s benefits enrollments; ensure new employees are onboarded; manage their benefits enrollment, beneficiary forms, update portal with wage changes, FTE or funding allocations or any other employee changes as required. Oversees monthly records of time and attendance for salaried and hourly staff including shift approvals, shift cancellations and shift scheduling for tracking, trend analysis and System improvements. Audits information for discrepancies employee status changes etc. Assist with EI and ROE inquiries or with queries regarding HR administrative process. Works closely with payroll and our benefits provider and keep all employee data UpToDate in the system. Run reports as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2 to 3 years of experience with an HRIS system and high proficiency with spreadsheets
Working experience supporting payroll and benefits administration is required.
Experience and knowledge in DAYFORCE would be a strong asset.
Well‐versed in the administration of LOA, RTWP and knowledgeable of employment standards.
Has initiative to do research, have strong organization skills and can prioritize multiple demands.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 Products, including: SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Works closely with our Benefits provider to manage LOA and LTD request
Must treat all HR and Payroll matters with the strictest confidentiality.
Detail‐oriented; ability to work with numbers quickly and accurately.
Extensive experience in benefits enrollment, administration and processing.
