Hillcrest Animal Hospital (https://www.hillcrestanimalhospital.ca) is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team! 

Hillcrest is a small animal practice serving the Quinte West community since 1971.  We currently have two full-time veterinarians who are heavily supported by our registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistant and reception teams.  We value your work life balance and offer a 4-day work week with no weekends or late evenings.  We have a dental suite, separate surgery room, on-site ultrasound and practice stress free visits for our patients. We look forward to adding to our team a veterinarian who is inspired to provide gold star medicine and being an active voice for our clinic's future.   

Located in Trenton on the Lake Ontario Waterfront Trail, an hour west of Kingston.  The outdoors is our specialty.  Everything from camping, sports and exploring our walking trails are all at your fingertips.  If a more relaxing pace is your preference, browsing the farmers' market along the river front or spending the day on the lake will recharge your batteries.  Whether you are looking for a tight-knit community or a more private space, Trenton can offer the best of each world.

What You Bring   

• 3+ years of experience
• Flexible and adaptable to evolving veterinary practices and technologies.  
• Capable of handling a variety of cases and situations with composure and professionalism.  
• Relationships are important to you. You easily build strong and trusting relationships with clients, so they come back to see you repeatedly. 
• Effective communication: You understand the importance of client relationship management and education in promoting animal health and can remain composed during challenging situations.
• Empathy for animals and their owners is a must.  
• You work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment- Everyone on the team is important and has a voice.
