Hours: Part Time Permanent, 20 hours per week

WHAT YOU’LL DO


As Genoa’s Office Coordinator for our Capilano office and team in British Columbia, you will be responsible for the smooth functioning of the office, providing general and administrative support to the BC team. You will be the core support for Genoa’s team members based in BC, on hand to help with issues, find answers, and ensure that any day-to-day distractions are removed so they can be their most productive. 

As the majority of Genoa’s employees are located in NL, you will act as a liaison for the Facilities Coordinator (located in NL) for activities that should span across the company. You will also liaison with the Logistics and Travel Coordinator (also located in NL) as required for BC team travel.
 

You will certainly have a variety in your daily activities; from managing IT issues with the IT support team; to arranging catering and team activities; to ordering office supplies; to managing facility issues; and providing support for office meetings. You will need to be service oriented and enjoy working with people, putting your BC team at the heart of what you do.

Our ideal candidate can think their way around any issue and excel at problem solving, especially when the answer isn’t clear cut. You’re always willing to go the extra mile to make things that little bit better or find a new way of doing things that is better than before.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED IN YOUR TOOLKIT

  • 5+ years experience in an office or administration role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability 
  • Strong organizational skills, including planning, time management
  • Excellent communication skills
